Dale Kidder has been building for us at our development, Bear Creek at Linville since we first started construction in late 2003.

His honesty and integrity is at the level that you would never feel the need to question him about it. His quality of workmanship in his buildings never needs to be addressed and he sees to it that his subs work at his same standards or he will not keep them on the job. He does not tolerate sub-standard work. He takes pride in his buildings and has always returned to address punch list items with our residents, when many contractors would leave you stranded once the job is finished. He has never failed to work with us on call backs for very minor situations, and with some that may not have been his responsibility.

We’ve been in the development business for thirty plus years and we’ve seen many contractors come and go by the way and we might say, without missing too many of them. We don’t feel that way at all about Dale Kidder. We feel very fortunate to have him as our contractor and never felt the need to look elsewhere for a builder. Dale is a professional and a credit to the field of General Contractors.

From early 2006, Dale Kidder of Kidder Construction has been actively involved in a number of construction projects within my development, The Headwaters at Banner Elk. He and his team were responsible for building our Gate House, Welcome Center, sixteen condominiums and the crown jewel, our mountaintop Clubhouse. From the beginning, Dale and Will Howard were on site every day overseeing the projects and providing helpful insights into how to improve upon the architectural plans. They worked tirelessly and were available at a moment’s notice when needed. The result is a grouping of amenities and condominiums that are the envy of the market. As the developer, I am very pleased with the way in which Dale took my vision for the Clubhouse and turned it into a reality.

Furthermore, Dale has assisted in the sale of numerous individual properties as he worked closely with prospective buyers and our sales team, walking various home sites and providing preliminary construction estimates to the prospects. As a result of his involvement, Headwaters has closed more transactions than it might have otherwise. In addition he has built several custom homes for our Headwaters property owners and in each case has come away with new friendships with those owners. That in itself is a testimony.

The quality of construction and creativity is of the highest caliber and I expect Kidder Construction to continue to be an integral part of the future success of The Headwaters.
